Who Builds These Pages, and What They Are For

Every table has a host. Here it is a furniture factory in the interior of São Paulo state, and this page explains plainly who we are and what you can expect from us.

The company behind the table

The Long Table is written and kept by So Mesas So Cadeiras Industria e Comercio LTDA, which sells its work under the name 20Wood Furniture. We are a manufacturer of wooden tables and chairs based at Rua do Centeio, 05, Loteamento Industrial, Santa Bárbara d'Oeste, São Paulo, Brazil, CNPJ 02.057.898/0001-60, and we also carry furniture by road with our own trucks. Why a furniture maker writes about keeping sharp

We spend our days making the place where families sit down together, and our customers keep telling us what happens at those tables. Many of them are in their fifties or older, living in the United States or with family there, and the questions they ask us drift easily from wood finish to how to keep a busy mind in order. This section is our attempt to answer in their language, in English, with what we see from the shop floor and with what published research describes in general terms.

What these pages are not

Nothing here is medical advice. We are woodworkers, not clinicians, and every piece ends with a note sending your real questions to a physician who knows you. We do not describe any condition, recommend any product or promise any outcome. The statements on this site have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

How the domain may earn

As of this revision, the five pieces carry zero store links, and no item on these boards has a price. In the future, this domain may point readers toward products sold by online retailers in the United States, and when a reader buys through one of those links, the shop on the other end may send a small referral commission our way. If that day comes, the link will be marked clearly where it appears, and the price you pay will be set by the retailer, not by us. We may also, at some point, publish a recorded video discussing such a product, and the same plain marking will apply.

What a visit leaves behind

These pages have no forms, no accounts, no comment boxes and no advertising scripts. We do not set cookies of our own. Cloudflare carries the pages to your screen and, as part of that job, briefly logs each request: connection address, timestamp, the page asked for. Those records exist for delivery and to fend off abuse. The lettering you are reading is drawn by Aleo and Hind Guntur, pulled from Google Fonts at load time, a step that passes Google your connection address. Mail you send us is kept only as long as the reply takes, plus whatever follow-up that exchange itself requires.

Your rights, and who answers for them

Because we are a Brazilian company, personal data is handled under Brazil's Law 13.709/2018. You may ask us whether we hold anything about you, ask to see it, correct it or have it deleted, and ask with whom it was shared. Send the request to the address above; we will answer within 15 business days. Our appointed data officer is the one who opens those messages. If you believe a request was not respected, you may contact Brazil's national data protection authority, the ANPD, at gov.br/anpd.

Conditions for reading

Print these notes for your own kitchen drawer, or forward the address to a friend; copying whole pieces onto another website is something we ask you not to do. We revise the pieces from time to time and will update the date at the bottom of this page when we do. Last revised in November 2026.
